| (in English) | The MANET Working Group at IETF has been working to develop a standards-track RFC of OLSRv2, which is a proactive routing protocol for ad-hoc networks. In the Internet draft of OLSRv2, the route is selected base on the number of hops, then the optimal routes could not be selected in the wireless network in which the link metric is changes frequently. The extension of OLSRv2 to use link metric, ETX, is proposed. We extended nuOLSRv2 that is an implementation of OLSRv2 to use ETX as the link metric, and evaluated the performance of the OLSRv2 with ETX link metric by simulation. The simulation results show the throughput of CBR application under OLSRv2 with ETX is 1.37 times greater than that under original OLSRv2. | |
