(in English) By using an experimental setup with a split-electrode, and with optical observing through a CCD imaging system, the motion behaviors of a high-current air arc between a pair of parallel arc-runners are investigated. Two problems are focused: 1, how does an arc-root commutate across a gap in arc-runner? 2, how does the resistance of arc-runner affect arc motion between the runners? Furthermore a one-dimensional arc model which can represent MHD characteristics is established to analysis the problems that mentioned above, and some sensible conclusions are given.
