Modulation dependence on detection performance for cognitive radios based on energy detection

(in English) Dependence of modulation on detection performance is analyzed. The required powers for detecting primary and secondary radios are obtained by considering instant signal power for each constellation on the signal space diagram. Comparing them for QPSK, the powers for signal detection with 64QAM are increased. The detection probability was decreased and the false alarm probability was increased due to the instant power variation of multi-level modulations.
