Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Recently, MIMO radar has been attracting attention owing to high resolution and ability of interference cancellation. At the same time, most radars steers pencil beam for the target to get much higher resolution. However, recent airplanes, for example stealth, detect radiowave from radar and attempt not to be detected. So that, we propose a brand-new radar system called Null-Steering Bistatic MIMO Radar(NBMR) which steers null of transmission beam toward the target. NBMR is hard to be detected from airplanes. Then we evaluate the performance of NBMR through copmparing with Beam-Steering Bistatic MIMO Radar(BBMR). Finaly, we calculate accuracy of estimated angles from radars and consider its availability.
