| (in English) | In this paper, we present the method of distinguishing between bipolar disorder and monoplar depressive using a tree-drawing test. Bipolar disorder is different from monopolar depressive according to DSM(Diagnostic and Statistical Manual Disorders)-IV. However, the symptoms of both are similar, and thus it is difficult to distinguish bipolar disorder and monoplar depressive. Tree-drawing test has often been used in psychosomatic internal medicine as a conventional psychological test. We analyzed pictures of this test using an image processing method, and calculated the characteristic quantities. We also performed the discriminant analysis using these indices. As a result, we could distinguish between these bipolar disorder and monoplar depressive using this method. | |
