A design of mobility support for IP multicast using unicast

(in English) Current IP layer multicast does not support listener mobility, multicast handover procedure brings inefficient overhead when a listener moves among multicast areas.
Especially for real-time applications, it's has much negative effects on IP stream.
To reduce the effect, we have been proposed a multicast handover mechanism using multiple interfaces, and shown the effectiveness of it.
However, IP multicast service has seen slow deployment in the Internet.
In this paper, we propose a mobility support mechanism for IP multicast using unicast to enable continuous multicast communication under multicast-unaware areas, and describe its implementation.
