A small-size broadband Bridged-T Phase Shifter

(in English) A small-size and broadband bridged-T phase shifter has been developed. The proposed circuit is based on a HPF/LPF phase shifter. A conventional HPF/LPF circuit can achieve broadband performance, but it has relatively large chip size because of the SPDT switches. To resolve this problem, the proposed circuit eliminates the SPDT switches. To verify this methodology, we have fabricated a 11.25deg. MMIC phase shifter whose chip size is 0.07mm2. The phase shifter has achieved the insertion loss of 1.2dB, and the phase shift of 11.25+/-1.5deg. in 6-16 GHz band.
