An Fundamental Study on Small Anechoic Chamber Using Visibility Wave Absorbers

(in English) In this paper, a small anechoic chamber using shielded tent and multi-layered wave absorber is proposed. The multi-layered wave absorber using short carbon fibers are arranged inside of the shielded tent using visibility metallic cloth. The measured result of the absorption characteristics shows that the absorber has wide range characteristics nearby about 2.0GHz. Next, the shield characteristics of with or without wave absorbers and electric power distribution is examined. As a results, the proposed chamber show a good shield effectiveness to about 6.0GHz. By arranging wave absorber inside of the shielded tent, its electric power distribution became stable.
