Adjacent Cell Interference Reduction Using Multiuser MIMO Relay Station

(in English) Recently, relay transmission is focused for realizing high speed wireless communications around the cell boundary. Since relay transmission can improve the received signal power, it can improve the bit error rate and
can enlarge the channel capacity around the cell boundary. On the other hand, this transmission method increases intercell interference. In this paper, we propose a method named multicell multiuser MIMO relay transmission in a MIMO cellular network. The proposed method can reduce the adjacent cell interference at the relay station located on the cell boundary. Such the relay station receives the signals from adjacent cells and transmits these signals to both adjacent cells by using multiuser MIMO techniques. In order to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed
method, we evaluate the proposed method by using computer simulations.
