Study on antenna Efficiency Improvement of two closely spaced monopole antenna elements.

(in English) Recent mobile terminals, the introduction of MIMO technology using multiple antennas are examined. Because communicating large data such as music and video are required to ensure better communication quality and capacity. If placed close to the MIMO multiple antennas in one location, Terminals can be gotten reducing antenna volume for improving design. But throughput may be reduced by lower radiation efficiency and higher correlation for antenna’s coupling. The paper [3] showed that How to reduce the antenna coupling of closely 2-ele monopole antennas in 2 frequencies without phase shifter. But higher antenna efficiencies than 1-ele’s are hoped for decoupling antennas. And it is necessary to know adaptive possibility of decoupling technique in other electric small antennas. In this paper, Antenna’s loss factors and how to improve the antenna efficiency using decoupling technique are showed. This decoupling technique was adapted to Small meander line antenna for checking range of applications. And could be adapted confirmed in this antenna.
