| (in English) | Research and development of planar microwave power dividers and combiners had already begun in the 1940s, more than 70 years ago. Even since the year 2000, many different types of power dividers have been presented every year by many researchers from all over the world. This is because new technologies for miniaturization, multi-band systems and so forth are required due to the rapid progress of recent mobile wireless communication systems and also because the number of highly motivated young researchers have been increasing with improvements in research facilities and technological developments. In this respect, recent developments in Wilkinson-type planar multifunctional power dividers and combiners are reviewed. | |
