Performance Evaluation of Marine Ad-hoc Network under Traffic Shaping Scheme

(in English) In recent years, there are some feasibility studies on marine ad-hoc network on voice grade channels for fishery. We present some simulation results to evaluate transmission characteristics on pre-established routes via fishery ships. After some proper parameter values are selected for MAC and LLC protocols, a scheme by using a traffic shaping at source node is proposed to control and regulate internal load. We evaluate its effectiveness to avoid inner congestion and to improve transmission performance.
