Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In the recent years, traffic fatalities decreases, but the number of traffic fatalities has persisted high level. The majority of traffic accidents are caused by driver’s drowsiness. To prevent these, several theoretical methods concerning the estimation of drowsiness have been suggested. However, breath of driver is not researched in detail. Then, we evaluated between the change and the respiratory rate of driver's drowsiness with a driving simulator. In this case, we found the relations
between the respiratory rate and drowsiness. Additionally, we obtained delay of drowsiness by controlling the respiratory rate. Therefore, it reports.
