| 抄録 | （和） | ヒトは、他の動物に比べて身体的に未熟な状態で生まれる。しかし、その外見とは対照的に、新生児はかなり精緻な自己身体表象、社会的応答能力をもっている。そうした能力の発達的起源はこれまで「生得的」と表現されてきた。しかし、胎児研究の進展にともない、胎内での学習可能性が見出されつつある。ヒトは、胎児期から獲得し始める自己身体表象を基盤として、出生直後から自己と類似の身体をもつ他者を検出し、口唇部を中心とした運動経験を共有する。生後1年目には、自己身体経験にもとづいて他者の行為やその背後にある心的状態を柔軟に認知するようになる。本稿では、ヒトの自他意識の発達を、ミラーシステム関与の可能性を含め議論する。 |
| （英） | Recent studies have suggested a developmental continuity from prenatal to postnatal sensorimotor activities. Even fetuses seem to have some knowledge of their own bodies; they manifest a sense of knowing that their bodies are entities, different from the other entities in the external environment. On the basis of such developmentally early forms of the self, humans perceive equivalence relations between their own and others’ actions from birth. By the end of the first year of life, infants understand the actions of others in a way that is indicative of an internalization of their own perceptual experience. Here, we discuss the development of self-awareness in relation to the function of the mirror system. | |
