| (in English) | We had studied intensively on wavelength path network. Our results include demonstrations on wavelength-on-demand and wavelength VPN services, signal quality assurance method on wavelength path network, and direct control of wavelength path from application. Similar research activities including national research projects have been accelerated following our studies. However, if we consider the future networks, wavelength path network have some problems from a viewpoint of wavelength resource cost and the granularity of data traffic accommodation. In this paper, we briefly review our past study results, then give views on the future network to solve the above-mentioned problems. | |
