Performance Evaluation of Vector Coding with Band-Limiting Filter

(in English) Vector Coding (VC) is a transmission scheme that can obtain path diversity gain while orthogonalizing receive signals. It has been shown that VC can provide better bit error rate (BER) performance than orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) that has already been put to practical use in wireless local area network (LAN) etc. In wireless communication, it is important to make effective use of limited frequency, so that both filtering that is limiting bandwidth and over-sampling that help avoiding timing off set at receiver are essential. In this report, we apply the over sampling filtering to VC system and evaluate BER performance by numerical computer simulation.
