The important requirements for New Generation Networks include the support for network diversity and sustainability.
Specifically network virtualization technology is essential in which the following functionalities are enmedded; (1) heterogeneous wireless access control, (2) wired/wireless integrated seamless resource control, and (3) deep programmability at PHY/LINK layers.
Towards this, we are proposing a Cognitive Virtualization Platform (AMPHIBIA).
The basic concept is the integrated control for network virtualization and cognitive radio technologies, and this enables improvement of wireless resource utilization and consistent exd-to-end QoS while keeping the individual advantages.
In this paper, we propose the design of cooperative reconfiguration mechanism and ANPHIBIA API in case we adopt CoreLab and IEEE 1900.4 as the state-of-the-art technologies. |
