Location Based Routing Protocol Using Mobile Agent in Wireless Multi Hop Network

(in English) In this paper, we propose location based routing protocol using Mobile Agent (MA) to manage the location information of nodes in a wireless multi hop network. In this protocol, the only MA can keep the location information of all nodes in the network. Each node sends location update message to the MA every time it moves a constant distance. The proposed protocol can reduce overhead with the update of the location information. When the MA receives a route request, it decides an appropriate one by means of the information. We evaluate the performance of the proposed protocol by computer simulation comparing with OCTOPUS, which is one of location based routing protocols. We show the validity of the proposed protocol in terms of a success rate of route construction and total amount of control packets.
