An Array Antenna for MIMO Systems with a Decoupling Network Using Bridge Susceptances

(in English) Decoupling/Matching Feed Network (DMFN) is one of the important equipment to improve ability of MIMO systems. Especially, in small radio terminals, increase of coupling between antennas makes this technique inevitable. Many kind of DMFN structure are proposed but the method using bridge susceptance and the transmission lines has simple structure and is easy to fabricate. However, DMFN utilizing bridge susceptanse is evaluated only for two element array antenna so far. That is ,it can be said that this technique is used in the specific structure. In this paper, we provide design method of the DMFN utilizing bridge susceptance for arbitrary two element array antenna and show characteristicss. Furthermore, we will extend the derived procedure to three element antenna case as well.
