| (in English) | The current Internet architecture is designed for host-to-host communications, while information dissemination and retrieval currently occupies most of Internet traffic. This fundamental mismatch leads the requirements on the design of information-centric network (ICN), which treats information as the first-class citizen. There are some projects in USA and EU having been posed towards this vision, such as DONA, 4WARD/SAIL, PSIRP/PURSUIT, CCN/NDN. However, some already designed ICNs lack of trustworthiness, some lack of information management, some lack of scalability, and some lack of supporting multiple communication paradigms. To solve these problems, we identify the goal and design requirements for the future ICN, and propose a novel concept of trustworthy information oriented network (TION). TION mainly includes four functional components, rendezvous system, trustworthy information flow, information life-cycle management, and trustworthy service provision. | |
