(in English) Foreground segmentation in dark-areas and existence of Foreground-shadow always prevent personal identification from surveillance video. Our approach employs the Multi-rate image enhancement based on Multi-Scale Retinex, and the shadow removal in the Walsh transform domain. In order to reduce operation amount of clear segmentation , the combination of adaptive image enhancement to darkness and adaptive parameter selection of foreground segmentation are proposed.
