Determining the values of Pixel Shift with Interpolating methods and its Application to Information processing education

(in English) This paper describes determination whether Pixel Shift exists or not,
calculating the value of such pixel shift with interpolating methods and
digitalizing the according value in its first half. And then it reports an
application to information processing education for engineering faculties
and/or colleges in the second half.
In other words, determination of such values includes the following
procedures; namely recognizing existence of pixel shift for monitored
images obtained from camera, which is the target to be checked, calculating relevant values of pixel shift with function interpolating
method, and visualizing corresponding results by means of numerical methods and graphical ones. A series of the above procedures are called ``
digitalization of pixel shift '' within the paper. It illustrates a scheme of digitalization as an application of Numerical Analysis in Higher
Engineering Education.
The second half of this paper introduces utilization of such determining
scheme as an example of practical information processing education for
scientific /technological courses. Through correlation with corporation,
such an education can be more realistic and feasible for learners.
