Recently, a cooperative communication is much studied as an effective diversity scheme on multihop transmission. Usually, a relay node of the cooperative supplier once decodes source-node data, re-encodes, and forwards them to a destination node. However, from the security point of view, this decoding at the relay is not desirable. In the current communication systems, the security is achieved mainly at upper-layers, which is never exclusive and an additional physical-layer security is also welcome. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a new cooperative transmission scheme based on chaos multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) achieving the physical-layer security where the replay node cannot decode the forwarding data but the cooperative diversity effect and coding gain are obtained. The chaos-MIMO is a chaos modulation scheme applied to the MIMO antenna multiplexing and achieves the physical-layer security and coding gain. We apply it to a dual-hop amplify-and-forward transmission and show its efficiency by computer simulations. |
