Information Assurance System for the Hearing Disabled People Using Mobile Device: Construction and Evaluation

(in English) We constructed a handy information assurance system using a mobile device. Most of the explanations of the exhibitions in the museums are written or voiced, that is, they are not completely intelligible, or unavailable for the hearing disabled people. Our system will be a solution with a video transmission of signing utterance through a mobile device. This system can check up the exhibits nearby its present location using GPS. Then, it displays a signing video of the exhibit when it was touched on the screen. We report the evaluation test at a public facility.
