It is important for assessment of biological risk in ultrasound diagnosis and treatment to estimate acoustic cavitation generated by MHz band focused ultrasound used widely in the medical field. We have been measured by KI dosimetry with hand-made miniature “cell” for sonochemical reaction the quantity of generated activated oxygen together with acoustic cavitation near focal point of high intensity focused ultrasound field for treatment. However, the measured quantity of activated oxygen was varied unstably in each measurement in spite of same applied voltage to ultrasound transducer. We will report the consideration on the idea for suppression of unstable variation of measured activated oxygen quantity by adjusting form of miniature sonochemical reaction cell and set position of the cell in the ultrasound field. |
