Analyses of All-Coupled and Nearest-Neighbor-Coupled Single-Electron Ring Oscillators

(in English) Ring oscillators constructed with single-electron transistor have large phase noise because of probabilistic
electron tunneling sigularity.In this paper,we investigate whether coupling ring oscillators can reduce
their phase noise.We estimated the phase noise,the oscillation frequency and the phase difference between oscillators
by theoretical analysis and circuit simulation for all-coupled and nearest-neighbor-coupled single-electron
ring oscillators.As a result,we confirmed that all-coupled ring oscillators can be reduced the phase noise by the
coupling.Nearest-neighbor-coupled ring oscillators have not the tendency,but we gained the knowledge that they
take symmetrical oscillation mode such that theirconsumption energy is minimized.
