| (in English) | Some kinds of information systems, which have image processing facilities, become more popular and more powerful for several applications to recognize and understand shapes, colors and images in a relatively short period. Image processing, however, needs a lot of professional skills and practical expriences so that it is difficult for beginners of Information Processing to utilize image processing facilities for their applications. With usage of OpenCV, even such beginners will be able to organize some information systems for their applications of image processing. This report describes two types of case studies which facilitate image processing using OpenCV and demonsrate some information systems for their image-understanding applications. OpenCV could provide a powerful object detection through image understanding facilities by means of Object Learning. With object recognition functions, even beginners can apply image processing into practical cases from entertainment to detection monitoring. In this report, we explain our case studies including Object Learning based on Haar-like features, Object detector for OpenCV, its application, and our current problems for future studies. |
