Analysis of Hairpin-Shaped Coupled-Line Resonator and Design of Miniaturized Microstrip Lowpass Filters

(in English) In this paper, the circuit of the transmission line equivalent circuit of microstrip (MS) hairpin type resonator that is the structure to bend the L-C ladder type is analyzed, the frequency response is analyzed, the frequency response is analyzed, and the generation principle of the attenuation pole and the transmission zeros is clarified. Formulas relating the circuit impedances and the reflection zeros, the transmission zeros, and the 3dB-bandwidth are derived, and are verified by using a circuit simulator and an electromagnetic simulator. The obtained three formulas are further applied to design a compact Low Pass filter having a sharp Attenuation characteristic skirt and a very wide stopband.
