Experiments on the verification of the psychophysiological excitng mode index ρmin.

(in English) For the study of emotion, we had suggested for psychophysiological exciting mode index as ρmin, previously. The ρmin is the minimum value of the cross-correlation between RSA components and respiratory waves. The feasibility of the index was verified using the video stimulus which evoked “laughter”. Further, using a computer game, we studied its feasibility by analyzing the responses of ρmin while playing the games those were classified by the levels according to difficulty. The ρmin responses changed linearly with the grade of difficulty of the game and its correlation was obtained. Therefore, the feasibility of the index was verified.
