Characteristics of Synchronization in Newman-Watts type Chaotic Neural Networks

(in English) In this paper, characteristics of synchronization in Newman-Watts type chaotic neural networks are investigated. Mahdi has been reported on characteristics of synchronization in Newman-Watts model with Hindmarsh-Rose neuron. We intend to compare our result with Mahdi's one. In concrete, We examined for networks whose constituent neurons are not identical for its parameter values. Characteristics of synchronization are evaluated by average synchronization error in the networks for various values of a global coupling strength and the shortcut probability for the Newman-Watts model. Then, synchronizing cluster of neurons in the networks is investigated. As a result, characteristics of synchronization of the chaotic neural networks are different from that of Hindmarsh-Rose neurons. It decreases with increase of global coupling strength. We also find that recombinations of the neurons in clusters occur in the chaotic neural networks.
