| (in English) | The authors developed the optical amplifier equipment suitable for outdoor environment to extend transmission distance of optical access systems. To verify our concepts, we designed and prototyped the amplifier and reported the result of examination for operation-and-management function of this amplifier. Also, we demonstrated the 40 km- 40 dB GE-PON transmission using this amplifier, successfully. | |
