A Cognitive Apprenticeship Framework for Developing Presentation Skill

(in English) Creating presentation documents for research requires segmenting and sequencing the research contents to construct semantic structure that is embedded in the documents. However, it is quite difficult for novice researchers to construct it since they have fewer experiences in composing presentation documents. In order to create presentation documents properly, it is necessary to get and accumulate experiences in composing the semantic structures. This paper describes a cognitive apprenticeship framework for developing skill in creating presentation documents by means of presentation schema that is typical semantic structure embedded in the presentation documents accumulated in the research group. In particular, we propose a methodology of enabling novice researchers to compose the presentation structures of various documents with the schema in the authentic research contexts of creating, learning, and listening to the presentation documents.
