Detection method for epileptic focus using 11C-Flumazenil PET

(in English) In this study, we propose a detection method looking for epileptic focuses using PET images. PET image obtained from human brain is bilaterally symmetric normally, but PET concentration reduce in the epileptic focuses contrasted with opposite side of a brain. In this paper, we propose a laterality detection method using anatomy based ROI. Mean absolute error of the proposed method is 1.01 \% per voxel. In contrast to our method, the error of laterality detection method using automatically-generated grid-like ROI are 2.46 - 2.74 \% per voxel.
