Microstrip Patch Antennas Using Conductive Textiles Excited by Electromagnetic Coupling

(in English) A microstrip patch antenna of 2-3GHz band that uses conductive textiles as a radiation patch is fabricated, and the reflection characteristics and the radiation pattern are measured．The excitation of the antenna is performed by the electromagnetic coupling with a microstrip feeder line on the other side of the substrate through a hole on the ground plane, so no solder or conductive adhesive is used．A sample textile patch that has conductive threads only in the woof is tried and compared with a copper microstrip patch antenna．
