360-Degree Video Player Synchronized with Orientation Sensor

(in English) This paper describes a way to play 360-degree movies on smartphones. Users make good experiences to watch the 360-degree movies because they can freely change their viewpoints with the orientation sensor of the smartphones. In addition, this paper proposes a function to play 360-degree movies using the log of the orientation sensor that is recorded at the different time by the different users. This function makes users to share their viewpoints among their friends, and share their experiences. Frequent logging of the sensor data gives heavy load to the smartphones. To reduce the load, this paper proposes a way to interpolate the logging data recorded in coarse grain. The experimental results show that the interpolation method can regenerate the sensor data good enough to control the movies.
