Relationship between Oxyhemodynamics and EEG Dynamics of Primary Sensory Area

(in English) Some studies have reported that the fractal dimensions of EEG become the indexes of brain activations. We observe and discuss a relationship between oxyhemoglobin concentration changes from NIRS and the fractal dimensions from EEG on the same temporal axis in order to verify the studies. As a result of giving two subjects the finger tapping and the light stimulus that activate primary sensory area, we have found a relationship between oxyhemoglobin concentration changes and EEG's fractal dimensions. Moreover, we have guessed that each signal contain a similar time series phenomenon.
