[Invited Talk] Research on Accelerating IEC and IEC Applications for Human Science

(in English) We introduce two research directions of our recent interactive evolutionary computation (IEC) research; one is acceleration methods for IEC, and another is IEC applications for human science research. IEC user fatigue is a remained IEC problem especially from its practical use point of view, and many methods for reducing it have been proposed. Accelerating IEC for obtaining satisfactory solutions in fewer searching generations is one of them. Firstly, we introduce some our recent works on accelerating IEC. Secondly, we introduce new IEC research, which we may say that the third IEC research direction following expanding IEC applications and reducing IEC user fatigue. They aim to obtain unknown psychological/physiological knowledge of an IEC user by analyzing an optimized target system optimized by the user. We introduce such our research.
