A GMPLS-based Power Route Reservation System toward Energy-on-Demand Home Networking

(in English) Energy-on-Demand home networking is especially effective when multiple power sources can be used in a house. We focus on the following points: a power flow can be treated as an end-to-end flow of the Internet, observance of instantaneous power limitation can be treated as bandwidth management of the Internet QoS. In this paper, we propose a GMPLS-based Power Route Reservation System. It makes an end-to-end path from a power source to a power-consuming device, and enables reservation of a path explicitly. This reservation is done based on the same protocols such as Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) and Resource Reservation Protocol (RSVP) in the Internet.
