There are various combinational optimization problems in the real world.
Although there exist many solving algorithms for them, these are not always suitable for a wide variety of problems according to no-free-lunch theorem.
Therefore, it is important to prepare various types of algorithms, especially the chaotic neural network (CNN) has an unique algorithm having different mathematical properties, which realize to search quasi-optimum solutions not only locally but also globally like brain association.
The CNN is reported to have some advantages over other meta-heuristic algorithms, but that was examined only for single-objective optimizations.
Accordingly, in the present study, we examine the performance of the CNN for mult-objective optimizations from the viewpoint of numerical cost and solving ability. |
