(in English) Precious metal brushes are widely applied to measuring instruments and power supply. Recently “Au” brushes and “Au” coating rings are more widely applied various instruments to such as for automation equipments, therefore they are expected to operate with high power and compact size. However, contact characteristics of these brushes and rings have not been disclosed. Therefore, the basic characteristics are investigated and reported in this paper.
