In the electric railway, melting material occurs by contact force lowering of trolley wire and pantograph slider, and material damage and contact loss generation are affected.
As pin and plate of the same material, electric contact opening test of speed (20um/s) which was very much slow was carried out by direct current. In each material of used Fe, Cu, Ti the melting bridge formation process was observed, and the damage after the experiment was examined. As the result, the difference by polarity and contact material was shown in bridge formation process and material damage in the contact opening. |
