Performance Evaluation of MIMO Transmission based on Nested Code

(in English) In a general MIMO multiplexing transmission where the transmitter has no channel state information, the transmitter allocates identical transmission power and transmission rate to individual transmitting antennas.As a result, individual substreams don't have the same quality (e.g., BER), which leads to signi cant degradation of the average quality since the qualities of individual substreams depend on its channel state. To mitigate this disadvantage, we propose the MIMO transmission designed based on nested code which is a kind of network-channel coding techniques. Simulation results con rms that the proposed MIMO transmission can achieve the superior BER performance to the conventional MIMO transmission.
