A Study of Wireless Media Access Control Scheme based on Time Difference

(in English) A data collecting system may be composed of a base station and a number of nodes around the base station, where each node periodically performs measurement, acquires and sends the data to the base station using the wireless channel. As the result, in CSMA/CA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance), severe competition for the wireless bandwidth and congestion may occur in the wireless channel. In this paper, we make performance evaluation of the media access control scheme based on time difference through the simulation.
Compared to the random access scheme, it is shown that the proposed method can reduce about 30 percent in the time required for data transmission processing. It is also shown that the characteristic changes of proposed method associated with the slot length.
