| (in English) | We have been studying a MIMO system that exploits macrodiversity effect to transmit high-quality videos across wide area without outage. We proposed a low-complexity antenna subset selection method that can choose antennas with low channel correlation mutually by using the condition number of the channel matrix as a valuation basis, and evaluated the reception performance by computer simulation. We have made a prototype MMSE-MD (Minimum Mean Square Error - MacroDiversity) receiver that supports $2 \times (16, 4)$ MIMO, and evaluated the effect of antenna subset switching delay on the reception performance using the received signal data acquired in the mobile transmission experiment on an actual marathon course. As a result, the reception performance was confirmed to degrade in the MIMO system when the switching delay exceeded the cycle of instantaneous variation of the channel, although it did not have an great impact on the reception performance in the SIMO system. The result will help us to improve next circuit design for MIMO system. |
