(in English) In many cases, archaeological remains in Japan are made of wood. The wooden parts have already rotted and disappeared or removed. It is only a soil that remains there. Researchers require identify the soil from the soil at excavation and prospection. Therefore, we need to practice and examine of the suitable method for the archaeological prospection. Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is one of the solutions to this issue. This paper introduces results at ancient temple and government office in recent years.
