(in English) A large field survey to detect underground caves on an artificial sandy beach had been carried out by using a ground penetrating radar (GPR) system. Laboratory investigation had been conducted to understand the mechanism of unevenness on the artificial sandy beach. Then proper time of surveying on the artificial beach has been considered by consistency of the results between the laboratory investigation and the GPR survey.
