Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) There are several studies to measure whole-body averaged SAR. A calorimetric method is used for the measurements of whole-body averaged SAR in experimental. This method is used for animal studies. However, this method needs relatively high temperature elevation of the objects. Therefore, the method can be used in only the case of electromagnetic exposure with high power. Moreover, it takes a long time for measurement. In this paper, we evaluated the effects on heat transfer medium in a twin-well calorimeter to achieve precise measurement in shorter period. The results show that the heat transfer medium affects accuracy of measurements and measuring time.
