Secure Urban Scenery Video Service Configuration using VPSS; Virtual Privacy Preserving Shield

(in English) In order to improve the usability of urban image services, such as Street View, we develop reality enhanced technology to replace a part of scenes on the service to UGC user generated video. However, using UGC might cause social issues because it might contain the scenes of privacy violation. Thus, we propose a method that the particular sensitive parts in the expected published scenes for service can be displayed as shields when users on the subjective side set the Virtual Privacy Preserving Shield (VPPS). Furthermore, to improve quality of the display in the urban images, we also have developed a method which minimize the displaying of hidden VPPS in the foreground by considering occlusion in definition of cyberspace.
