(in English) An international conference ICUWB2011 (The 2011 IEEE International Conference on Ultra-Wideband) was held at Royal Hotel Carlton Bologna in Bologna Italy on 14-16 in September, 2011. The conference is specialized UWB radio techniques and mainly held by IEEE MTT (Microwave Theory and Technology) Society every year. Communication techniques and ranging and positioning techniques by using UWB techniques are discussed in this conference. In this paper, an overview of ICUWB 2011 is reported.
