Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We have demonstrated ultra-widely tunable terahertz-wave sources based on a nonlinear organic crystal DAST. In this report, we studied a high-power terahertz-wave DAST difference-frequency-generation (DFG) pumped by injection-seeded dual-wavelength KTP-optical parametric generator (is-KTP-OPG). The output pulse energy of the dual-wavelength KTP-OPG was 2.5 mJ. The linewidth of the beam was about 0.03 nm. We also generated tunable terahertz waves from DAST-DFG pumped by the is-KTP-OPG in the range from 1.3 to 9 THz.
